4 shopped slices bacon
2 tbsp green pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 pts large drained oysters

5 tbsp chopped onion
2 chopped celery stalks
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

In a frying pan, cook bacon until crisp. Add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook until tender. Add remaining seasonings. Cut large oysters in chunks and place in a baking dish in layers. Cover each layer with vegetable mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Serves 8.

Oysters are bivalve mollusks closely related to clams, scallops and mussels.
